The aim in this section is to bring informative articles that will help you develop additional skills above and beyond those basic skills that are covered through many pages of the site. These will be supplemented periodically with new articles or updates to existing ones, where new experiences or knowledge is acquired that will make the tackle more effective or safer for the pike.
Where an article of interest is found on another site, that is of value to you as pike anglers, a link will be provided so that you can visit the page and read the article and extend further the knowledge and skills you have or will need to be a good pike angler.
The articles on offer on Pike Online contain most of the following:

- Detailed illustrated diagrams where appropriate!
- Complimentary photographs!
- Details of the tackle used and where you can get it (with an optional link to buy the item)
Budding authors: Recognising that there are talented anglers amongst the sites visitors, who might like to publish their ideas on methods and ideas for catching pike, Pike Online is offering you the space to get them published here on the site if they are informative, offer good advice and will help make fishing for pike better for both angler and the pike and promote good angling practices! They don't necessarily have to be about big pike!
Whilst many sites publish contributors articles few if any provide the finishing touches, pics and diagrams as explicit and detailed as those used to provide that extra 'wow' achieved here on PikeOnline!
If you think you have a good article that you want to share with our visitors and would like to see it published and illustrated here, with you being credited for having done so, then you will be able to submit it to us by attaching the article in a Word document format. If at all possible send along a good quality digital photo and where possible describe the tackle set up, eg: lure, bait, float, traces, etc and we will create an illustration to accompany it.
To be able to submit your article, you will need to Register as a contributor after which you will be able to access additional pages that faciltate providing articles and other information that will help grow the content within the website. A few extra benefits may also be available in the future.
