Pre-booked limited access to pike fishing in the winter months from October to 28th February with one boat and two anglers with 4 rod limit. Horsey Mere like other Broads in the Upper Thurne system become wildfowl santuaries in the winter months which have a priority for migrating birds that overwinter here. Access is monitored on all Broads and there is a guide and code of conduct available on the thurnefisheries website. Fishing is by single boat, with 2 anglers, maximum 4 rods for daylight hours; £15.00 per day Day ticket access commences on March 1st and runs for 2 weeks until 14th March (period tickets are available to avoid permit checks and swim disturbance) More detail can be found on the dedicated website, where detailed maps and application forms are available for download.
