This knot has many uses and is particularly durable for attaching braided lines to hooks and swivels.

For the purpose of this particular image we are showing the knot being used to secure a swivel and fixing the reel line to your trace swivel.

This is probably one of the simplest knots to tie, its basically an overhand knot tie around the swivel. The critical part of tying this successfully is to ensure that once the loop is fed back over the swivel, its correctly placed as the knot is tightened.

This loop is reduced in the process of tightening the knot and it should come torest on the eye and then be secure on the kno, but off the swivel eye and then pulled tight. Remember to moisten the knot with saliva at the last moment to ensure it closes smoothly.
